Orthomolecular medicine strives to “maintain health and treat disease by altering the concentration of substances normally present in the body and responsible for health”.
The term “orthomolecular” was coined by the US chemist and two-time Nobel Prize winner Dr Linus Pauling. From the perspective of orthomolecular medicine, a biochemical imbalance in the body leads to disease. This includes, for example, allergies, unclear intestinal problems, food intolerances or sleep disorders.
This imbalance can be corrected by taking food supplements. Orthomolecular medicine deals with the effect of micronutrients such as vitamins, vitaminoids, amino acids, trace elements, secondary plant substances and minerals.
In addition to psychiatry, other areas of application include sports medicine, allergology, gynaecology and obstetrics, immunology, rheumatology and many more.
Through specific genetic tests, heart rate variability and laboratory analyses of blood, urine, stool and saliva, I can put together a customised blend of micronutrients for you.

As part of the orthomolecular diagnostics, we carry out an extensive clinical-chemical analysis, which includes the following tests:
Allergies and intolerances, amino acid status, inflammation, fatty acid profile, heart rate variability (HRV), hormone balance, bone metabolism, metabolites, microbiome, micronutrient status, food intolerance, neurotransmitter status, oxidative stress, nitrosative stress, stress profile, stool and digestive analysis.
Through epigenetic analysis we learn more about the following values:
