If you would like to take advantage of my laboratory diagnostics including nutrition and lifestyle coaching, this is the program for you.
Orthomolecular medicine strives to “maintain health and treat disease by altering the concentration of substances normally present in the body and responsible for health”.
The term “orthomolecular” was coined by the US chemist and two-time Nobel Prize winner Dr Linus Pauling. From the perspective of orthomolecular medicine, a biochemical imbalance in the body leads to disease. This includes, for example, allergies, unclear intestinal problems, food intolerances or sleep disorders.
This imbalance can be corrected by taking food supplements. Orthomolecular medicine deals with the effect of micronutrients such as vitamins, vitaminoids, amino acids, trace elements, secondary plant substances and minerals.
In addition to psychiatry, other areas of application include sports medicine, allergology, gynaecology and obstetrics, immunology, rheumatology and many more.
Through specific genetic tests, heart rate variability and laboratory analyses of blood, urine, stool and saliva, I can put together a customised blend of micronutrients for you.
To simplify intake, the micronutrients can be delivered as a granulated personalised CALDA micronutrient blend thanks to an internationally patented process.
As part of the CALDA Orthomolecular Package, we carry out the treatment in two phases. The first phase lasts two to three days and the second takes place after a few weeks and lasts one day. This can also be ideally combined with a holiday or a business trip to Switzerland.
The costs for the CALDA Orthomolecular Package: from CHF 20’000.-
In the first phase, which lasts two to three days, we carry out the following diagnoses as part of the CALDA Orthomolecular Package:
As part of the orthomolecular diagnostics, we carry out an extensive clinical-chemical analysis, which includes the following tests:
Allergies and intolerances, amino acid status, inflammation, fatty acid profile, heart rate variability (HRV), hormone balance, bone metabolism, metabolites, microbiome, micronutrient status, food intolerance, neurotransmitter status, oxidative stress, nitrosative stress, stress profile, stool and digestive analysis.
Through epigenetic analysis we learn more about the following values:
Degradation of food ingredients, antioxidant capacity, iron uptake and utilisation, detoxification handling of pollutants, lipid metabolism cholesterol, bone metabolism, lactose malabsorption, pharmacogenetics, reaction to inflammation and infection, stress and mood, vitamin balance (B vitamins, homocysteine), obesity and diabetes, risk of coeliac disease.
In the second phase, which takes place a few weeks after the first phase during one day, you will learn the following from my team of experts:
- Risk analysis, diagnoses
- Personalised treatment strategies
- Weight management
- Personalised CALDA micronutrient mixture for three to six months
- Personalised lifestyle concept
- Personalised nutrition concept
- Preventative measures
- Directly necessary treatments and therapies
- Summarising evaluation and procedure
During the CALDA Orthomolecular Package you are responsible for your own accommodation, as the treatments are carried out on an outpatient basis. However, if you wish, we can provide you with one of our CALDA Residences or recommend a hotel. You can benefit from our excellent relationships.
The costs for the CALDA Orthomolecular Package amount from CHF 20,000.- Accommodation is not included.
